For our Collaboration project we were given 'How to cheat at...' We had a few ideas such as: How to cheat at... The Olympics, Drugs Test, Casino/Gambling, Cooking (i.e cooking things fast), Getting ready in the morning, Fighting, Eating vegetables, Being a Superhero, Dancing, Having Friends, Getting into Places. We decide to go with How to Cheat at The Olympics because it has a strict set of rules that we can easily break.
These are ideas for different skits within the animation:
Boxing:
- Someone distracts referee and cheater kicks the other guy in the balls/an illegal move
- Different weight in gloves, cheater gives opponent heavier gloves so he can't raise his hands
Running/ Sprint:
- Pushes opponent over, the rest fall like dominoes (then trips over his own feet and falls)
- Uses fire extinguisher to propel self along the track
Curling:
- Cheaters kick away opponents rocks
-Cheaters rocks are remote controlled
-Pour water/oil to make surface more slippery
Gymnastics:
- Uses harness and ropes to get them in the air so they can do more moves, then land and bow to judges
Archery:
- Magnet placed behind the board, magnet in the arrow, either attract or repel each other
- Uses crossbow instead of bow and arrow
Shooting:
- Everyone is using normal guns, cheater drives up in a tank
Golf:
- Remote control ball, drive it to the hole
Karate:
- Ending scene from Karate Kid, illegal crane kick
Long Jump:
- Uses springy shoes (moonshoes) to jump high, possibly goes off screen and falls down in later scene.
Weight lifting:
- Uses crane to lift weights (and him)
- Using fake weights
Equestrian:
-Pantomime horse (two people in horse costume) jumping over the fences or doing dressage
Diving:
-Using harness and wires to perform impossible diving move, lands slowly without a splash
Rock Climbing:
- Gets bit by radioactive spider, becomes spider man
- Uses glue on hands to stick to rocks
- Climbing across floor, made to look like they're climbing up vertical surface
Bobsleigh:
-Jet engine attached to sleigh
